Please join us for a study of Pastor Adam Hamilton’s recent book, Words of Life: Jesus and the Promise of the Ten Commandments Today. This 6-week course will meet Wednesday evenings beginning Wednesday October 13 and run through Wednesday November 17th.
The class will examine the historical context of the Ten Commandments, how Jesus used them in his teaching, and how we can use them today as guideposts for a meaningful and joyful life. Each session will include a short video, discussion, study, and prayer. Participants are asked to complete chapter readings in advance (an average of 35 pages weekly). Class will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. and conclude by 7:30 p.m. This class will only be offered in person, unless the church is closed due to an increase of COVID-19, at which time it will move to a Zoom-based format. Masks are encouraged, but not required.
Books are available in the church office (cost is 19.00), or available on Amazon and in digital format for Kindle or Nook.
